PSG to meet with UEFA over FFP – sources

PARIS — Paris Saint-Germain will meet with UEFA later this month to discuss financial fair play (FFP) matters, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.

The French capital club’s representatives will travel to Switzerland on April 20 and meet with UEFA’s Club Financial Control Body to discuss FFP-related topics, as earlier reported byAL’Equipe,

The Ligue 1 leaders have been on the radar of European football’s governing body since luring Brazilian superstar Neymar from Barcelona for a222 million last summer.

PSG then signed Kylian Mbappe on loan from Monaco in a deal that will be made permanent for around a180 million this summer.

It will not be the first time that PSG have visited UEFA headquarters in Nyon since an investigation was opened into last summer’s transfer dealings.

A source added that it also might not be the last meeting of its nature between the two parties and thatALes ParisiensAbeing summoned does not mean that a decision is imminent.

UEFA’s FFP verdicts are expected in early June at the earliest, and PSG do not expect a decision to be communicated when they travel to the meeting in a few weeks’ time.
